Myrn is an award-winning writer from the West Coast of Ireland working across both the creative and corporate sectors as a scriptwriter, playwright, copywriter and digital content producer. She is also an experienced researcher, with recent clients including BBC3, Channel 5 and Vice Media.

In 2020, Myrn was awarded an OffWestEnd online commendation for her play The Jar, which premiered online at the beginning of the pandemic and was viewed more than 4500 times. In 2021, she won ‘best playwright’ at the Scenesaver Awards, and her play PUP was shortlisted for Hope Mill Theatre’s annual playwriting prize. In 2022, Myrn won in the categories of ‘adaptation’ and ‘TV pilot’ for Frances Bell Film’s screenwriting competition. She was also shortlisted for Watersprite Film Festival’s screenplay competition.

In 2023, Myrn graduated top of her Screenwriting masters at the London Film School and is currently developing projects for TV, film and theatre.
